Preffered Answer:
I can not get into Google Play Store.
The tablet has android 4.2.2 and came with a default browser.
The default bower on my RCA table t is no longer supported. But there is not way to get another. Unfortunately, I did not download an alternative browser before.
Odd, I can get into many web sites. But Google will not let me into the play store because it says the browser is no longer supported.
So far, all the browsers I can think about are only in the play store.
So I am locked out. So I am ASKING for help.
How can I get any kind of Android browser without going into the play store?
Is there any other download method?
wife has older android 4.0.4 and play store worked fine. I used it 2 days ago to CPU-Z to see what she has for an ARM cpu and its just a single core. Must be something with the RCA tablet vs version of android.
If you can get to google on the older browser search for Chrome for Android and follow that, it might let you install that without the google store.
CNET also has it for download and install too: https://www.google.com/#q=chrome+for+androidWas Google Play previously accessed via the browser? On my phone it seems to be a separate App ENTIRELY, but it's on Android 6.0.1.Several weeks back it was working alright. I deleted some d files I thought were not needed. I do not know if this is the real cause of the problem.
Right now I am looking for other websites that download Android Apps. I am hoping to find a download site that has Firefox or Opera for Android. So far no joy.

Likely the issue right there...Must be the case.
I just did the factory reset, lost most of my
STUFF, but got Google play back.
It seems to work OK.I got into the play store with a different ID and am now downloading stuff.
You can access Google Play within the browser on your regular PC and then when you find an app you want, click "Install" and it will install it on your tablet. If you have multiple Android devices registered with the Play Store, it will prompt you to select which device you want the app installed on.Quote

I see what your sayin, basically adding that app to the google account at the PC level, and so when the android connects to google its sync's and updates to reflect your account among all devices and so the app should pass down through that update. Forgot about that ability. Its a work around if he isnt able do it from the tablet.
DaveLembke,
I solved the problem with a hard reset. In the settings there is a place to restore factory settings, This destroys all data and added programs. It even destroys the Wi-Fi settings. When it restarts, it asks what language your went. So, I had to
GO do all the stuff you do when it was new.
Amway, it is back to normal now. But I have to install my
FAVORITE apps again.
You sell Amway now ? ?
